logoAsia Outdoor will celebrate its 10th birthday in Nanjing, China, from July 23 to 26. The total exhibition area will reach 52,000 m2, taking up four halls of Nanjing International Expo Center. By now, more than 450 exhibitors have registered for Asia Outdoor 2015, a growth of about 20 percent compared to the same period last year.

Asia Outdoor is looking forward to its tenth anniversary and is looking ahead confidently.
Stefan Reisinger, head of OutDoor and Eurobike: “After the unexpected death of Knut Jaeger, we have re-positioned ourselves together with our partners in Nanjing and found an excellent way to further develop our successful exhibitions. The close and trusting cooperation with the Chinese Outdoor Association – the union of all market-leading Chinese Outdoor brands – is what makes the Asia Outdoor the center of the Chinese Outdoor scene.”

Asia Outdoor is especially being supported by the Chinese Outdoor Association (COA), which decided at its annual general meeting that it would jointly and solely take part in the Asia Outdoor. The Association includes well-known brands such as Toread, The North Face, Kailas, Northland, Mobi Garden and Scaler. COA’s decision is based on similar decisions by associations in the United States and Europe, which are also concentrating on exclusively outdoor exhibitions.

As the biggest professional trade show in China’s outdoor industry, Asia Outdoor has ten years of experience and gained great trust and support from the industry. Brands such as Alpinex are coming back to the show with their new collections this year. Other old friends including Actionfox, Bemis, Beaume, Camel, Craft, Deuter, Eagle Creek, Fire-Maple, Gregory, Kailas, Keen, Leki, Lowa, Mobi Garden, MSR, Northland, Odlo, Osprey, Primaloft, Salomon, Scaler, Scarpa, Tecnica, Therm-a-rest, Tittallon, Toread, Vaude and new-comers including Halti, Nathan, One Way, Reima, Swix and Ulvang will bring their new outdoor products and technology to Nanjing.

Besides product presentation from hundreds of outdoor brands, there are also a number of supporting programs.

COA Outdoor China Summit – a new program at Asia Outdoor
The first COA Outdoor China Summit hosted by COA will take place during Asia Outdoor 2015. Outdoor brands, distributors, e-commerce dealers and media representatives will be invited to discuss hot topics and prominent problems facing the Chinese outdoor industry.

Running Village – the place to go for runners
After last year’s superb success, the Asia Outdoor 2015’s Running Village will double in size to some 730 m2.
