Running on the top of historic Asolo Citadel (Treviso – Italy). The athletes will climb 276 steps from the city centre to the base of the Fortress walls. From down here, they will go to the top of the walls and then they will cover the entirety of the citadel. It was built on the top of Ricco Mountain, at 313 meters of altitude, between the centuries XII and XIII.

Communication: during the passage over the citadel walls, the athletes are obliged to walk, for security reasons, this, on the other hand, will allow them to admire the breathtaking view over the flat land and mountains all around. Once the walls perimeter is completed, the trail will continue towards the finish line in Cornuda.

This incredible passage enriches the Duerocche , that has always contributed in the valorization of the local natural and historical beauties. The passage is allowed thanks to the Museo di Asolo, which will also organize guided tours of Villa Barbaro di Maser, Museo di Asolo and the Rocca di Asolo (which will be open for the event).
