Ultra Train by SALEWA with its custom MICHELIN sole is dedicated to sports lovers who see the mountain as their ideal training ground. The MICHELIN Ultra sole with technology adapted from MICHELIN COUNTRY MUD and MICHELIN COUNTRY DRY mountain bike tyres is characterised by small tread blocks and large sculpture that facilitates fast walking even on difficult terrain. The high number of tread blocks together with the MICHELIN Outdoor Compound rubber mix gives the shoe optimal traction and stability even on hard ground. The structure of the tread shoulder creates high lateral stability while traversing slopes. The flexible longitudinal channels on the sole allow the adaptability of the shoe to different terrain according to pre-determined torsion lines. The double-density EVA midsole provides excellent interaction of the “Sole- Unit” and the anti-torsion shank with arch support increases the general comfort of the shoe.
