Published by Mountainblog on .

SAL_0343bAfter twelve and a half years, the Oberalp Group which owns the SALEWA, DYNAFIT, POMOCA and WILDCOUNTRY brands and Reiner Gerstner are going separate ways. He is leaving the company by mutual agreement as of September 30, 2016.

Reiner Gerstner has been responsible for strategic development of the mountain sport brands as Group Brand & Marketing Director, based in Bolzano, for the last eight years. Prior to this, he was Brand Manager for the ski touring brand DYNAFIT (Aschheim) and was head of ski development for twelve years. In 2005, he oversaw the DYNAFIT relaunch with the new snow leopard logo, which has proved very successful for the Oberalp Group. Furthermore, he was actively involved in developing CSR and CRM strategy for the group and its brands.

One year on from its global brand relaunch SALEWA has demonstrated that it is very dynamic and successful, the other brands are all in excellent condition, I’m ready for a new challenge,” said Reiner Gerstner.

The family-owned, South Tyrolean company, led by Heiner Oberrauch is sorry to see him go and would like to thank him sincerely for his very successful contribution to the development of the group and its brands.
