La Sportiva in Version 2.0: At ISPO the Brand Expands Its Rroduct Range

1At the annual winter sports trade show in Munich, the brand from Ziano di Fiemme (Trentino – Italy) presents itself to the market with a totally revised winter collection: new graphics, colours and technologies. Clothing, Skis, boots, footwear and accessories, evolve towards a 2.0 collection concept dedicated to winter sports, with particular focus on ski mountaineering at all levels and the latest technology to enjoy sports activities in the mountains during the winter months.

Two shoes complete the high-mountain range: the innovative dual, high altitude boot G2 SM, developed in collaboration with Italian climber Simone Moro during his winter ascents to Gashebrum 2 , the first high mountain boot to integrate the Boa® closure system; and the ice and mixed terrain boot Trango Ice Cube GTX, equipped with the exclusive Thermo Tech injection construction system.

2The alpine ski sector sees the technical and aesthetic restyling of the entire collection of 2 hooks boots: Spitfire 2.0, 2.0 and Sideral Starlet 2.0 are presented with new colours and aesthetic lines alongside the new graphic appeal comes the exclusive S3 ™technology (Safety, Stability, Stay-in) developed in collaboration with SkiTrab for enhanced safety in skiing and maximum compatibility with TR2 Trab bindings. Spitfire 2.0 specifically adds additional technicality thanks to the SPEEDFire ™ closure derived from the famous Stratos carbon series.

2.0 Treatment for the apparel line too dedicated to ski mountaineering with an emphasis on the world of tour and race, both for male and female skiers. The 5-layer system developed by La Sportiva ski for demanding ski mountaineer, is enriched with new materials and technologies such as the exclusive Pro Guard 200 Stretch Tech / i ™ stretch fabric used on the new Mid-Layers, the innovative Spirex ™ construction method that provides exceptional thermal and breathability qualities thanks to the use of the Primaloft Silver MR padding and to the 3 layer construction methods of Soft Shells and Insulation Jackets, and the addition to the collection of EKS yarns by PonteTorto®, and BeCool® for Base layers in contact with the skin. It also renews the historic partnership with Gore-Tex by evolving of the bestseller Shell into Active Shell Storm Fighter GTX.

3An evolutionary leap forward in terms of innovative technology for winter sports that harmoniously combines technicality, comfort and aesthetics in a Winter Mountainware collection that has been totally revised and renewed in design and colour ,with new shades of blue, nugget, and red berry that blend perfectly with the carryover items currently in the collection today. Never forgetting their ecological and ethical commitment the La Sportiva clothing collection boasts a selection of garments that satisfy the Bluesign® standards of environmental respect and aims at maximum reduction of yarn containing PFC. The La Sportiva range is completed with a new line of accessories ranging from gloves for ski touring in Polartec Alfa, and carbon ski sticks and helmets.
