Professional photographers who will compete on the walls of Garda Trentino will come from 4 European countries in search of the perfect photograph.
From the 10th to the 12th of May Arco Rock Star returns, a reference event for climbing photography: the Garda Trentino rock will be the main scene for the fourth edition of the event. Two days to find the perfect photo, one that describes the athletic gesture, but also the landscape and everything that revolves around climbing – from the effort to the smiles, from sunsets to beers. A story of passion for climbing and for photography.
The subscriptions for the OPEN category are possible till saturday.
The ten professional teams participating in the PRO section are confirmed: Giovanni Danieli, (ITA), Rainer Eder (SUI), Klaus Fengler (GER), Graziano Galvagni (ITA), Alice Russolo (ITA), Thomas Monsorno (ITA), Matteo Pavana (ITA), Federico Ravassard (ITA), Rus Vakrilov (RUS) and Ryu Voelkl (GER). Alongside the photographers, numerous international climbers.
The best photo in the Open category will receive a prize of €500, while the best photos of the Pro category (each team will have to present 4, which will be evaluated together) will be awarded with €1500. The second and third places will receive material prizes, including a F-stop gear backpack. Registrations to the OPEN category are still open and it is possible to register on the www.arcorockstar.it website.
Arco Rock Star is supported by La Sportiva, which has been close to each climber since 1928 and for the second consecutive year also alongside Arco Rock Star. A collaboration that reaffirms the interest of the Trentino brand for the story of the climbing world through photography.

The event takes place during the Adventure Days, the international festival of exploration, whose eighth edition will be held from May 10th to 12th in Garda Trentino: adventures and shows, activities and meetings with great travelers, adventure lovers and explorers will meet to share stories, experiences and passions. On stage every night, the big names of international exploration and mountaineering.
