Delegate registration for the European Outdoor Summit (EOS), which takes place from 26th to 27th September 2019 in Interlaken, Switzerland, is now open. With the reduced early bird rate only available until 19th July, now is the time to book your delegate place HERE.

For the first time the EOG is pleased to offer EOG members a reduced rate, which they can book with until the early bird deadline. The price will increase to the standard delegate rate thereafter.

Giving would be delegates a compelling reason to book, the European Outdoor Group (EOG) is pleased to announce that this year’s EOS opening speaker is Anne Skare Nielsen, Chief Futurist and Partner for Future Navigator.

The theme at this year’s EOS will be ‘The Outdoor Industry – Redefining Boundaries’ and Anne will kick off the keynotes on the first day with her presentation “From More to Better (or Why the Next 10 Years Will be Amazing)”.

Promising to uplift, inspire and expand horizons, Anne’s keynote will not only address trends and the need for change, but will look at how it can actually be done.  In the old days, success was all about “more”: more money; more clients; more employees; more stuff.  In the future, it’s “better”: how do we create a positive impact and solve meaningful problems together? The next decade will not only redefine boundaries, but will force you to answer the question: “who are you on this planet?”. The next big journey is the journey within. And the destination is you! Through Anne’s presentation discover a future that is all about passion, curiosity and the ability to wonder!

Born in Denmark, Anne is a graduate in biology and political science and an alumni from Wharton and Columbia. She works with both small local and large multi-national organisations and is frequently active in the media, including the popular radio show “The Philosopher, The Writer and The Futurist. She champions those who are passionate about what they do and who believe that dedicated work will make all the difference, and her vision is to win the Nobel Peace Prize for transforming journalism, politics and education!

Anne says: “The next 10 years will be amazing – for those who want to do better in the world. The competitive win/lose game is ending. If you want great, visionary, sustainable success you need to stop obsessing over beating your opponents and start improving the game.”

The EOG is also pleased to announce that leading footwear outsole specialist Vibram has signed up as a Major Sponsor of the EOS for its third consecutive year. Davide Canciani, Global Marketing Director for Vibram says: “The Outdoors is part of Vibram’s DNA, and that’s why we are proud to once again be one of the main partners of the European Outdoor Summit. We’re glad to give our contribution to encourage networking within the outdoor industry. The outdoor market always needs renewed energy and new inspiration and during recent years the European Outdoor Summit has become one of the most relevant, inspirational and interesting events, and an important summit for the European outdoor industry to discuss current and future trends.”

Bringing together high calibre leaders in the outdoor industry from across Europe and beyond, EOS 2019 is taking place at the Congress Centre, Kursaal Interlaken, which is located in the heart of Switzerland and within easy reach by public transport from Bern, Zurich, Basel and Geneva airports.

Offering excellent value for money, the EOS early bird delegate place costs just €550 + VAT, increasing to €650 + VAT from 19th July.  The EOG members early bird rate is €500 + VAT, this will increase to €650 + VAT from 19th July.
