GORE – New business portal for customers and retailers!

Untitled1Intuitive, user friendly and service oriented: W.L. Gore & Associates (Gore) offers its retailers, customers and consumer oriented fabrics (COF) partners a new online platform. The new business portal has been officially launched at ISPO 2014. It provides useful information and services related to the GORE-TEX® and WINDSTOPPER® brands in ten different languages.

Gore’s COF partners have a new digital contact point for their print and online communications. Using the new business portal at http://portal.gorefabrics.com Gore’s partners can access a communication toolbox, web elements, a demo shop and brand guidelines. An intuitive interface means that users can easily find and download any logos, graphics, images, product information or campaign details they may need.  The portal has been first launched in English. Other language versions will then follow, including German, French, Spanish and Russian.

Easily integrated into existing websites
The demo shop is also easy to use. It provides users with valuable advice, helpful ideas and special elements that make it easy to integrate GORE-TEX® and WINDSTOPPER® products into an existing Web site or a retailer’s Web store. The ingenious thing about this portal is that these elements, or information modules, are available in different formats (pop-up, overlay, iFrame) thus making it possible to assemble the contents in a variety of ways.

Communication Toolbox
The communication toolbox provides a wide range of information about GORE-TEX® and WINDSTOPPER® products. Everything you need to know about these products is presented using powerful images, explanatory texts and detailed illustrations. The toolbox also contains information about how wearers should best care for their garments, i.e. how they should be washed and dried, as well as text modules about the GORE-TEX® “GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™” satisfaction guarantee.

“We have revised the online offerings available to our partners because more and more of our customers and retailers want to be able to integrate information about our products and services into their own Web sites,” explains Marlene Munteanu, responsible for the digital planning and implementation of the business portal. The portal is to be further developed and progressively expanded to include other interesting features.
