garmont ispo awardInnovation and tradition: these are the key words that guided Garmont in the development of its FW 2024/25 collection. With the aim of designing a product suitable for a multitude of outdoor adventures, the Veneto-based company developed the new TRACE HIGH BOA® GTX®, a versatile, durable and extremely comfortable boot whose characteristics earned it an ISPO Award.

And at this German tradeshow Garmont will preview its upcoming FW 2024/25 collection, with numerous new features and innovations including the award winning Trace High BOA GTX.

ISPO Munich is the international appointment for the winter sports business community and, from November 28-30 2023, it will once again catalyze the attention of outdoor industry professionals. Garmont will be present at the Munich tradeshow with the highlights of its Fall-Winter 2024/25 footwear collection: a line-up of products that meet the different needs of outdoor consumers, with renewed iconic models and innovative new solutions.

The highlights of the future collection include the Trace High BOA® GTX® boot, designed for long winter hikes in cold environments and on snowy terrain, ideal with snowshoes. For consumers searching for a warm, reliable and protective boot for their winter adventures, the refined design and construction details earned it a coveted ISPO Award 2023.

Insulated, comfortable and with environmentally friendly elements, these new boots from Garmont allow optimal lace adjustment thanks to the two BOA® dials for differentiated tensioning between the cuff and instep that can be adjusted even while wearing gloves.  Thermal insulation is provided by Ortholite® O’Therm™ foam padding, an open-cell polyurethane infused with aerogel which creates a breathable thermal barrier 54% more effective than other padding on the market, without compromising on light weight. This boot’s thoughtful design and unrivaled functionality convinced the jury and earned it an ISPO Award 2023.

Garmont’s continued focus on product development using environmentally friendly materials and solutions was also particularly appreciated.  In the case of the Trace High BOA® GTX®, the Treviso-based company utilizes the new totally PFC Free Gore-Tex® membrane (made of ePE, or expanded polyethylene) to provide breathable and waterproof protection on winter hikes.  The Michelin® WILD XT outsole features the new Bio Based Technology compound, developed by global licensee JV International. This sustainable and high-performance rubber compound uses 90% non-fossil fuel based materials, raw materials that are not derived from the petrochemical industry. The outsole was designed exclusively for GARMONT to ensure maximum grip, traction and flexibility in every situation.

With a rugged design, this boot is ideal for outdoor adventures in snowy environments and will be available starting next winter at select Garmont dealers for a recommended retail price of 250.00 euros.
