In the Fall/Winter 2024/2025 season, Garmont presents Tower 3.0 Extreme GTX®, a reinterpretation of the iconic Tower model, made to meet the needs of experienced and demanding mountaineers who seek a precise and protective product.

Compatible with semi-automatic crampons and ideal for winter mountaineering or summer mountaineering activities on glaciers, the new Tower 3.0 Extreme GTX® features a double-layer construction: an inner boot made of high tenacity polyester with PU inserts, and an external highly abrasion resistant gaiter with a bi-elastic material for maximum comfort. Fit is optimized with the BOA® Fit closure system with two dials, and with integrated Heel LockTM technology to improve foot stability within the boot.

The Tower 3.0 Extreme GTX® also incorporates Instep LockTM technology, a system of flaps that wrap around the instep to deliver the perfect fit for each phase of the ascent and descent. Waterproof protection is guaranteed with the new completely PFC Free Gore-Tex® membrane (made of ePE) that has a layer of thermal insulation to withstand harsh temperatures. Thermal insulation is also provided by the Ortholite® O’Therm™ footbed which features a layer of insulating foam.

With a construction designed to last, the boot features a protective rubber rand that descends over the polyurethane midsole to also provide a better connection between the upper and the sole package.

An additional plus of this model is the new Vibram® Vertex outsole with Durastep compound and Traction Lug technology which provides a 25% increase in traction and 50% more stability.

Recommended retail price: 390.00 euro.
