LOWE ALPINE
Ascent Range
Winter 2017.18

Lowe Alpine first came to prominence by producing climbing packs that met the needs of the top performers of the day. 50 years on and the new Ascent Range, featuring the Ascent Superlight continues this tradition.

The 30 litre Ascent Superlight is one of the lightest fully functional packs on the market and shares a design lineage with Lowe Alpine’s very first 1967 Expedition Backpack. Designed by mountaineers, for mountaineers this pack evolves Lowe Alpine’s trademark HeadLocker ice axe attachment system to offer easier handling. Other features include sculpted shoulder straps for greater freedom of movement, a new TriShield Superlight fabric coating – specifically developed for this pack to increase abrasion resistance and a removable back panel that doubles up as a bivvy seat.

Other packs in the range include: The Metanoia, Mountain Ascent, Alpine Ascent and Peak Ascent. All are light, simple and functional and combine innovative new materials with refined designs. A dual-fabric design features throughout the Ascent Range, combining a tough TPU coated fabric for high abrasion areas, with a lighter but strong plain weave for areas with less exposure. Ensuring durability whilst keeping the overall weight low.

The Ascent range caters for all levels of experience, whether you are setting out on your first mountaineering trip or pushing the limits to make a challenging ascent. The packs are designed for all climbing pursuits, from expedition alpinism and hut-to-hut adventures to high alpine peaks, winter climbs and summer rock climbs.
