From the invention of the first vehicles up to present day, innovation and recreation have continued to be the common denominator that inspired Michelin. With this mission in mind in 2014 the “Soles by Michelin” project was born: transferring all the know-how of the contact with the ground to footwear, in order to create high-performing soles with an exceptional grip. Indeed, Soles by Michelin is the project that, using the most transversal skills, develops customized soles in partnership with the most important footwear brands from all over the world

Below just some of the novelties that will be presented at ISPO:

ETNIES (Stand No. 115 / Hall B4)
Etnies The Camber Crank

The Camber Crank model from Etnies is a completely new performing cycling shoe equipped with a Michelin sole. The shoe is dedicated to all MTB and BMX cyclists. The Cramber is infact inspired by the three-time Red Bull Rampage champion Brandon Semenuk.

The latter has been designed to guarantee up to three times more grip and is characterized by a tread with reinforced toe and heel. The Camber model is perfect if you are looking for additional grip on your pedals, a rigid and resistant sole and, at the same time, more traction when riding on more aggressive trails and tracks. Other important features are the abrasion-resistant nubuck upper, the gusseted tabs to keep out of the water and a secret tongue pocket to store the laces.

GARMONT
TIKAL 4S

The Garmont Tikal 4S, is the new revisited Garmont must-have, distinguished by unparalleled comfort and lightness thanks to the design of the upper and the material in soft leather. The novelty of this winter version is the upper in Nabuck leather combined with a lining with G-Dry construction that protects against water and wind. But the real important value of this footwear is in the Michelin natural rubber sole, perfect for the city and out-of-town trips and characterised by a wide and well-spaced sculptures, which intensifies in the area of the toe and heel to provide greater grip and traction on both uphill and downhill stretches.

NORDICA (Hall B5 Booth 340)
NORDICA HF ELITE

The new HF Elite from Nordica and Michelin is the result of innovative studies. The abbreviation HF stands for Hands Free, and clearly underlines the extreme ease of use thanks to the rear fit and an opening of 40 °. Thanks to a very large contact surface, the Michelin sole guarantees  greater durability and adhesion to the ground. The boot also includes deep grooves that allow snow and water to escape easily.
