STELVIO JACKET SPORTFUL

Sportful‘s innovative new Stelvio Jacket has won a 2016 EUROBIKE AWARD.

The jacket has been in development for 3 seasons with pro team Tinkoff who sought the ultimate protection for the worst of weather. Inspired by the Gavia-Stelvio stage of the 2014 Giro d’Italia which saw most of the peloton grind to a halt in snowstorms and cold winds.

Sportful looked to create a jacket that could offer full protection & packability without affecting the performance of the rider with fitting and breathability key factors in the design.

After 3 seasons of prototyping, refining and race testing the Stelvio Jacket is here.
The Stelvio jacket features Sportful’s incredibly breathable 50,000g/m2/24h RainWick Stretch fabric that offers a close aerodynamic fit, double stretch cuffs that make it easier to get the jacket on and off and a waterproof rating of 20,000mm to keep the very worst of weather out.

The jacket is extremely light at just 165g and easily packable into a jersey pocket should it need to be stowed, but with it’s exceptional breathability it can be worn from 0°C – 20°C comfortably.

Today the jacket’s excellence was recognized by the judging panel of the EUROBIKE awards claiming the 2016 Award.

The fit of the Stelvio Jacket is great, with it’s stretch material, perfect for athletes, such cuts for real cyclists are unfortunately too rare in the market.” Eurobike Award judging panel.

The Stelvio Jacket will be available Spring 2017 from authorized Sportful retailers.
