Also this year EUROJERSEY supports WWF for the biggest global environmental event: Earth Hour brings together millions of people around the world with the WWF, calling for action to stop climate change and save the planet. This year thousands of lights will be turned off for sixty minutes as well, revealing a commitment to reduce emissions, starting from daily actions.

All began in 2007 from Sydney and in ten years time the Earth Hour has spread now to 178 Countries, thanks to the pressure of civil mobilization when the world leaders signed the agreement in Paris in 2015, with the aim not to increase the temperature more than 1.5 ° C above pre-industrial values. 2016 was the warmest year in the history: the planet’s temperature has increased by 1.1 ° C, with a troubling leap forward. Nature everywhere is giving us warning signs: from the quick melting of glaciers in the Arctic and Antarctic to droughts, fires to floods. With Earth Hour, everyone can launch its own message, with friends, family, at work and be an active part of the change.

If the challenge is to change, the change starts from all of us: reason why EUROJERSEY supports the global mobilization of WWF and encourages its employees and customers to participate, turning off the lights and turning on the change! Appointment is Saturday, March 25th, from 8.30 pm to 9:3 pm, according to local time zone!
