Raise The Bar: Choose The Innovation and Lightness of C.A.M.P. at the Crag, Too!

Published by Mountainblog on .

campEvery climber knows what vital role details play, especially when it’s a matter of climbing on the edge. A small mistake, a little distraction, the weather being too hot or too cold are all it takes to compromise a good performance. Gear, quite clearly, takes centre stage, too: we’re talking climbing shoes, ropes, quickdraws and harnesses. This is the reason why C.A.M.P. keeps on putting forward ground-breaking, light items, helping climbers achieve their goals. Cases in point are the newly designed Photon quickdraws, now even more functional, the comfortable Energy harness and the Matik belay-descender device, featuring a low impact force and a Proprietary Anti-Panic system.

These draws are designed for onsight climbing where every gram and every second counts. The lightweight keylocking Photon carabiners are optimized for fast action and smooth clipping. The Photon carabiners have been updated with a new body design that increases rigidity and strength without increasing weight. The SphereLock closure is an upgrade to the traditional keylock system that minimizes play between the gate and nose for enhanced safety. The dogbones are equipped with the Karstop Evo carabiner retainer that prevents the rope end carabiner from shifting. Available in 11 and 18 cm lengths.
Weight: 86 g (11 cm) and 91 g (18 cm)
