What is Pomocup? Pomocup is a simple and practical device conceived by ski mountaineers, for ski mountaineers. It measures data that matters, providing real time feedback during ascent (on the built-in gesture-controlled display or with the mobile app), and analytics back at home (web interface). Pomocup is a must have for mountain lovers and competitors alike.
Pomocup is the result of merging the 15 years of experience of GaitUp in clinical motion analysis with the experience of POMOCA in the ski touring market.
Pomocup weighs less than 50g, measures 64 x 42 x 18mm, and will cost between 200CHF (185€) for the normal version and 350CHF (315€) for the pro version. Supporters will profit from discounts of 10% to 40% once the campaign launches.
How to get a Pomocup? The Pomocup crowdfunding campaign started today and will end on February 29th at midnight. The goal is to get the financial support (50.000CHF or more) to develop the product and deliver the devices to all supporters in December 2016.
The project can be supported with rewards from 12CHF(10€) until 2500CHF(2315€). All rewards over 100CHF include at least one Pomocup device. For the “earlybird” supporters, there are some limited quantities of Pomocup with a special discount.
Kickstarter is one of the leading crowdfunding platforms, where consumers can support projects, and are in turn rewarded with the final developed product, in this case Pomocup.
