President and CEO of CamelBak, Sally McCoy Speaks About the New Generation of Outdoor Enthusiasts at EOS 2015

Having recently announced former UK Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg as a keynote at the upcoming European Outdoor Summit (EOS), which takes place from 13-15 October this year, the organisers of the Summit are now pleased to release details of further speakers and workshops available to the 215 already booked EOS 2015 delegates.

  • The rise of music festivals and casual camping as social outdoor experiences and their impact on products and distribution.
  • The fashion trends of “athleisure” and “lumbersexual” are changing fashion markets and the perception of traditional outdoor styles.

Serving as the President and CEO of CamelBak since October 2006, Sally’s vast experience of the outdoor industry includes operating outdoor recreation companies, advising mergers and acquisitions, and strategic consulting. In 2004 she co-founded Silver Steep Partners, a leading boutique investment banking firm catering exclusively to companies in the outdoor and active lifestyle industries. Prior to this, she served as President of Sierra Designs and Ultimate Direction and as Vice President at The North Face.

Sally has served as Chair of the Board for both the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) and the Conservation Alliance. A seasoned outdoorsperson, Sally has had many adventures, including her own attempt at Everest.
