Athletically-inclined climate activist
Some people like a challenge — especially when it comes to getting up a mountain with skis. High performance clothing is needed to keep you from overheating on ski tours and that’s where VAUDE’s Sesvenna Pro jacket comes into play. It combines a sophisticated, motion-friendly construction with sustainable manufacturing. The outdoor specialist uses an ingenious material mix that is windproof and insulating, alternating breathable and flexible knit zones. The result is an outstanding microclimate and superbly comfortable fit for all kinds of adventures in the snow.

Ski touring is increasing in popularity. It covers a broad spectrum of activities ranging from gently carving your way down the slopes to ambitious fitness skiing. Everyone has his or her very own definition of happiness on two skis.

With the athletically-inclined Sesvenna Pro jacket, VAUDE is addressing a clientèle that’s looking for a breathable yet warm thermal jacket that also offers full freedom of movement. This versatile jacket is known as a hybrid for good reason – it combines robust, abrasion-resistant 20 D nylon mini ripstop in high stress zones with stretch knit inserts at the back and a recycled knit-stretch material under the arms for great freedom of movement. Polartec® Alpha at the front conserves your body heat while also allowing moisture to escape quickly and warm Primaloft® inserts are integrated into the kidney zone, sleeves and back.

Comfort Mapping for successful snow days
To prevent the jacket from riding up when you’re engaged in intensely active sports, the lower neoprene hem is close fitting. This neoprene band also provides effective protection from cold and snow and a silicone print inside prevents it from slipping. ‘Comfort Mapping’ is a top priority. The strategic placement of varying technical materials and a sophisticated blend of insulation offer outstanding breathability, high warmth retention, and an excellent fit. The athletic cut and bi-color knit support the sleek and dynamic look. Thanks to its small pack size, the jacket will always find a place in your backpack – if you ever take it off.

Environmentally friendly manufacturing
The jacket is made with eco-friendly, water repellent Eco Finish and is manufactured without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). The knit yarn consists primarily of recycled polyester with a light elastane content. The insulation (PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation Active) is also made of 100 % recycled polyester which conserves natural resources. The Sesvenna Pro Jacket will be available in stores in Fall 2020, for men in black and navy blue, and for women in black and steel blue.
