The OIA is very pleased to announce that Liz Beverley has been appointed as the Chairperson of the OIA Development Board.

Liz has served on the Development Board since 2020, including as Vice-Chairperson. Liz is currently Sales & Marketing Director at Plas y Brenin – National Outdoor Centre, having previously led Ordnance Survey’s (OS) #GetOutside initiative from 2014 to 2024.

Passionate about shifting perceptions and driving behavioural change, Liz is committed to promoting the importance of the outdoors, its impact on future generations, and the value of education and skill-building to help people thrive outside.

The OIA’s Development Board is made up of representatives from mid and senior level management who are aspiring to be the next industry leaders. Their function is to devise new projects and concepts that the OIA can pioneer or support. Find out more on the OIA website.
