The 26th edition of Prowinter, the leading B2B event for the outdoor and winter sports world, officially began this morning: Fiera Bolzano exhibition center is once again the beating heart of the European ski business, welcoming brands, distributors, retailers and rental companies to preview the collections and innovations for winter 2026/2027.

A three-day showcase of innovation, running until Tuesday 13 January, which this year stands out for a strongly international scope thanks also to the opening of a new pavilion entirely dedicated to the outdoors, featuring the Scandinavian Village, which will host prestigious international brands.

This year’s edition marks a decisive step forward regarding the sustainable growth of Fiera Bolzano, already EarthCheck Silver certified: for the first time in the history of the Prowinter Award, an evaluation criterion dedicated to environmental responsibility has been included, entrusted to the assessment of a specialized ESG consultant. Sustainability is also the protagonist of the Winter Sports Sustainability Network Meeting and the Ski Industry Climate Summit, two key events completing the fair, dedicated to strategies and best practices for the future of winter sports.

«We are proud to inaugurate an edition that reflects the maturity achieved by Prowinter. The presence of the Scandinavian Village and the direct participation of major international brands demonstrate that our trade fair is now recognized as an unmissable appointment on the European calendar» declares Geraldine Coccagna, Brand Manager of Prowinter. «But we don’t look only at numbers: this year we are placing a strong emphasis on responsibility. We wanted to integrate concrete ESG criteria both in the organization of the event and in the evaluation of the awarded products, because the future of the mountains necessarily passes through here.»

The central moment of the inauguration was the announcement of the Prowinter Award 2026 winners. Now in its fourth edition, the Prowinter Award 2026 saw products competing in 10 categories divided between the Ski and Outdoor worlds, enriched by one Special Prize dedicated to cross-country skis, judged by two juries of specialists.
