Following the success of 2025, in response to growing exhibitor demand, the trade show will expand its exhibition space and strengthen its international profile. The main innovation this year is the opening of an entire new hall, which will host the new Scandinavian Village, next to the Italian Outdoor Village. A concrete symbol of the encounter between Northern and Southern Europe, where leading international players in the sector exchange ideas in a single moment and place.

Another key development for 2026 is the participation of numerous international brands exhibiting directly through their headquarters, rather than via Italian distributors or resellers. Stöckli, Kästle, Ziener, Reusch, Hestra, and Montura are among the brands that have already confirmed their presence with larger booths and European teams, further reinforcing Prowinter’s increasingly global identity.
This evolution positions the South Tyrolean fair as a benchmark not only for Italian professionals but also for those from Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, the Benelux region and Eastern Europe, who are eager to meet company decision-makers directly.

A major focus of this 25th edition will also be sustainability. Fiera Bolzano, already EarthCheck Silver certified, continues its path toward becoming Italy’s most sustainable exhibition center, integrating ESG principles into every organizational phase of the event. During Prowinter 2026, two significant meetings dedicated to sustainability in the winter sports supply chain will take place: the Winter Sports Sustainability Network Meeting and the Ski Industry Climate Summit (hosted by Atomic in collaboration with Protect Our Winters Europe – POW and the Wintersports Sustainability Network – WSN). These events will bring together companies, experts and institutions to discuss strategies and best practices for the future of the industry.

In addition, the Prowinter Award 2026, now in its fourth edition, will introduce for the first time an external jury member dedicated to evaluating the sustainability of products and production processes: a tangible sign of Prowinter’s commitment to a more responsible and transparent approach.

The popular Prowinter Test Days, powered by ITASnow and organized by Pool Sci Italia, will also return on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 January in Carezza. These remain one of one of the most eagerly awaited moments of the event, where over 250 professionals will have the opportunity to test the 2026/2027 season’s new products in advance.

Rounding out the program is the Prowinter Party, an event open to all exhibitors and visitors, which will enliven the first evening of the event with networking sessions, designed to encourage exchange and inspiration between companies, professionals and industry media.
