After the 2019 break, the biennial Kima Trophy, the SkyMarathon that wrote and continues to write a page of skyrunning history, is back on August 30, 2020 in Val Masino, Italy.

The challenging highly technical 52 km course touches seven passes at altitude and counts a massive 4,200m vertical climb across moraine, snowfields and exposed crests – pure skyrunning.

In 2018, Catalan superstar Kilian Jornet returned to claim back his record which was broken in 2016 by Nepalese runner Bhim Gurung. He stopped the clock at 6h09’19”.

In the women’s race the 7h36’21” record trembled thanks to an outstanding performance by American Hillary Gerardi, just 1’ short of Nuria Picas’ record set in 2012.

Bearing in mind that entries are capped at 250, watch out for entries opening shortly.
