From June 1, 2018 Lars Föll takes up the newly created post of General Manager Europe at backpack specialist GREGORY. The 39-year old previously held the position Marketing and Sales Director Europe at premium backpack brand Tumi, which also belongs to the Samsonite Group.
Having held a number of posts with Samsonite, Lars Föll worked until recently with premium international pack and accessory brand Tumi, where he was Marketing and Sales Director for Europe. Lars Föll will now report directly to Arne Borrey, President Europe of the Samsonite Group.
Lars Föll will be further expanding the brand, together with Adrian Davison, Brand Manager Europe, from the company headquarters in Belgium. He sees his main objective as building on the brand’s already strong growth in Europe by making GREGORY more visible in stores and increasing communication measures. He puts it like this: “I come from a brand where a love of product detail and a commitment to quality without compromises are very important. At GREGORY, I see the same thing – unique and extremely functional products with huge potential.”
