Envirotrek - Respect the Mountains

Enjoy a wonderful day in nature. With a delicious BBQ lunch, a great afternoon full of fun outdoor activities, and a morning filled with.. rubbish bags!

Help clean up nature and join an Envirotrek!

For the last six years, Clean Up events have been taking place throughout Europe. This year, Envirotrek is organised in six different countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, France and Austria. Now for the first time, Envirotrek is coming to the Czech Republic! On the 17th of August, Envirotrek North Wales will take place at The Heights in Llanberis, Wales, United Kingdom. Main sponsor of Envirotrek is KEEN Footwear. Envirotrek North Wales is powered by The Heights, RAW Adventures, Heart of Adventure ‘Calon Antur’, Outdoor Wales and Rope&Ladders.

What
The programme will kick off at 10am, with volunteers walking a track and collecting rubbish and waste. Group leaders are allocated and all participants will be provided with cleaning and safety equipment and fully briefed with a safety talk. The Clean Up finishes at around 12.30pm, with volunteers being rewarded for their mornings’ efforts with a delicious BBQ lunch. Participants get to spend the remainder of the afternoon enjoying a range of fun outdoor pursuits organized by the Envirotrek leaders. There will even be a chance to win some great prizes including KEEN footwear and gifts for the best or most interesting rubbish found, with the day’s event closing at approximately 4pm.
